I had never heard of a compassionate care vet until I found myself faced with that horrible decision to help my baby girl cross over. A good friend recommended them and I was so glad she did. One of the staff came to our home to help during this time. It was all well explained and very low key, which was very much appreciated. I got to hold my baby girl through it all. No rush, no interruptions…just time to hold her and tell her goodbye. She brought us so much love and joy for 18 years, I felt it was the least I could do for her and for me. Then I got to carry her out to their vehicle and place her inside a lovely space that looked decorated for a nice, comfy nap, not cold or clinical or impersonal. For me it was well worth it and I’m so very thankful for those that provide this service.
