Dr. MacDonald couldn’t have been more compassionate and caring

testimonialplaceholder-cat My sweet 17 year old Siamese, Gabi, mourned her littermate brother for several months after he died, and then her health began to fail, too. She had arthritis and hypothyroidism and was then diagnosed with congestive heart failure and a kidney infection. The thought of her having to take 5 medicines a day for just a few extra months of life (at most) was too much, so I made the difficult decision to let her go. My regular vet recommended Dr. MacDonald and after speaking with her, we decided after I spent one more weekend with Gabi, Dr. MacDonald would transition her to her next journey. Once Gabi was gone, Dr. MacDonald gave me a few minutes alone with my girl to say goodbye and then she gently took her to her car and for cremation. I can’t think of a better way for my cat to leave this earth than being comfortable at home, in her favorite place. Dr. MacDonald couldn’t have been more compassionate and caring and I will forever be grateful to her for being here for us.
