Dr. Kimberly made a very difficult process a little more bearable. She was compassionate and caring, both to us and to our beloved dog Bella. She did not rush us in any way, she listened to us while we talked about Bella to her, and then when we talked to Bella. She gave us as much private time as we needed to say what needed to be said to our sweetie.
Dr. Kimberly carefully explained each step of the process, as well as what responses we might expect from Bella. As Bella relaxed from the anesthesia, Dr. Kimberly even took the time and care to make sure Bella’s tongue was not sticking out and getting dry, and before giving her the final shot, re-positioned Bell so she was more comfortable. She also helped coordinate with The Pet Loss Center of Austin, who picked up Bella’s body for cremation.
I can’t speak highly enough about the wonderful care and compassion and service we received. We’ve been through this 6 times now over the years, and while it is always painful, this time we felt like we made a wise choice using CPV. Thanks to Dr. Kimberly and to Glynis.
